Rise Books supports DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. Books protected by a bookstore’s DRM must be read using that store’s supported app. If an import fails, confirm the file opens in another reader and download a complete local copy before trying again.
You can choose Read Without Audio during setup and install voices later in Settings. Voice downloads need an internet connection and available storage. Once installed, narration is generated on your device.
Book questions require compatible Apple Intelligence hardware and an available on-device model. Spoken questions also need microphone and speech-recognition permission. Reading and narration remain available when book questions are unavailable.
Use Restore Purchases on the Full Library purchase screen while signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase. The unlock is a one-time purchase shared across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Apple handles billing and refund requests. Support cannot access your card details or issue an App Store refund directly.
For synchronization, use the same Apple Account on each device, enable iCloud Drive, and check available iCloud storage. Allow time for files to download. Keep a separate copy of important book files.
